Welcome to our kennel From the Olympia Girls. Through this website I would like to introduce you to my passion for breeding the wonderful Havanese.
My name is Petra van den Beuken-van der Burgt and I am married to Gerard. We live in Olympia Park in Roggel, municipality of Leudal, a name that is also reflected in our kennel name.
My passion for breeding dogs goes back many years. In 1989 the first Cavalier King Charles came into our lives. I started breeding dogs in 1998, and that same year the first Cavalier From the Olympia Girls litter was born.
In 2002 the Japanese Spaniel also came into our lives. During ring training in Venray in 2003 I came into contact with the Havanese. I soon discovered their wonderful temperament: eager to learn and intelligent, mischievous, affectionate and very playful.
Over the years I have attended many symposiums and courses to build up expertise and further develop my knowledge. I obtained the relevant qualifications in canine knowledge and the Dutch Dog and Cat Decree.
In 2004 our first Havanese came into our lives: Senrita Lolita Los Guapas. Since then Havanese dogs have been a permanent part of our family and our lives.

Our kennel name originates from Olympia Park in Roggel. Our love of dogs and breeding has continued to grow over the years.
Our philosophy
Health and temperament
By breeding with different females and males we gain more insight into the breed and its bloodlines. We consider continued attention to health and heredity very important.
We strive to breed typical, healthy Havanese dogs with wonderful character. Our parent dogs are health tested and the test results can be inspected.
